These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Goldstar East Africa Associates website and the accounting, tax, audit and advisory services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

By accessing our website or instructing us to act on your behalf, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Goldstar provides professional accounting, tax, audit, payroll and advisory services in accordance with the standards of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and applicable Kenyan law. The specific scope of any engagement, including deliverables and timelines, is set out in a separate engagement letter or proposal agreed with you. Information on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional advice.
Client Responsibilities
To enable us to deliver our services effectively, you agree to provide complete, accurate and timely information and records, to respond promptly to our requests, and to meet statutory deadlines that depend on your cooperation. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply and for maintaining proper records as required by the Kenya Revenue Authority and other regulators.
Fees & Engagement
Our fees are set out in your engagement letter or quotation, whether as a monthly retainer for ongoing work or a fixed fee for one-off assignments. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to suspend services where fees remain outstanding. Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the terms of the relevant engagement letter.
Limitation of Liability
We perform our work with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, and we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as strictly confidential and will not disclose it except where required by law, by a regulator, or with your consent. We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Governing Law
These Terms and any engagement with Goldstar are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
